offer early childhood music programs support children's learning
thru a repertoire of music activities that are sensitive to
children's music development. Harmony Road is our newest program
for toddlers and preschoolers which includes keyboard instruction.
We also offer special classes for infants.
In
addition to the pleasure of making music, research has shown
us that it is essential for our children to be exposed to
the building blocks of music which are rhythm and tonal patterns.
To support the development of their music potential we include
exercises in music play which focus on the content of music
as well as the lyrics of the songs we sing and play.
We recognize
that music needs to be a full immersion experience to profoundly
develop potential. To support this parents receive materials
such as CD's, songbooks and tapes to continue the music learning
at home. Drumming and other music experiences are the centerpiece
of this segment and guest performing artists will be included
